Lead Hill School District
Gifted and Talented Education Philosophy
The Lead Hill School District believes that the major outcome of education for gifted and talented students should be the development of each individual’s unique gifts and talents. The most productive educational strategy is to help the student modify, adapt, and learn how to discover new facts for himself/herself. The nature of
gifted and talented students requires an education that differs in the quality of experience provided for them in order to stimulate and challenge them to a maximum achievement. The measure of a successful program for the gifted and talented will be the degree to which they have become productive individuals, aware of their potential, and strong in self-esteem.
